What lies beyond death according to Islam 1

What lies beyond death according to Islam 1

Allah says in Quraan '“Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and with good, and to Us you will be returned.” Quran (Surah Al-Anbiya:21)'
'{And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!"}[Surat Qâf 50:19]

'26. Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit),
27. And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?"
28. And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death);
29. And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded)
30. The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)!
31. So he (the disbeliever) neither believed  nor prayed!
32. But on the contrary, he belied and turned away!
33. Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself!
34. Woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you!
35. Again, woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you!
36. Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allah) on him]?
37. Was he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge of semen) poured forth?
38. Then he became an 'Alaqa (Literally, the Arabic word alaqah has three meanings: (1) leech, (2) suspended thing, and (3) blood clot.); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion.
39. And made him in two sexes, male and female.
40. Is not He (Allah Who does that), Able to give life to the dead? (Yes! He is Able to do all things).' (The noble Quraan, Surat Alqeyamah)

The Prophet Mohammad , peace be upon him said: ''the deceased is followed by three: his money, his folks and his deeds, two leave him and return and one stays with him; his money and folks leave, and his deeds stay''. [Narrated by Bukhari]

If we were to let be, death would be the comfort of every living man,
But when we die we are resurrected and held responsible for everything.

I would like to start with theses words which were said by Imam Alshanqeeti :
'Before that day (the day of judgment) and before that immense scene,
must come a moment in which a person is taken from the place of illusion and deception to either a place of harsh punishments (Hell) or a place of pleasure (Paradise).
A moment of moments.....
in which the person is ordained to be relocated on that day (from the life to the hereafter) , this is the moment , in which a person casts his final glances upon his sons, daughters, family , father, mother and upon his brothers and sisters , casting his final glances upon this world , the signs of the pangs clearly evident on his face , and there emerge from deep within, the sighs and moans(of a dying person)
indeed a moment .in which even the disbelievers believes in , and even the wicked evildoers has full surety of, indeed it is a moment , in which a person recognise the true lowly insignificance of this world ,
indeed it is a moment
in which a person truly feels that he has greatly neglected and disobeyed his lord, indeed it is a moment , in which a person feels deepest regrets and pain over every single moment in which he neglected and disobeyed his lord
this person calls out exclaiming : " My Lord, My Lord"..:
("My Lord! Send me back,100. "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" 23-99-100)

it is the final, decisive moment
,a time which is a striking blow (breaking and separating one from this life ), which even draw close and overtook the messenger of Allah , by this i mean the Angel of Death !
so it is , that one may exclaim" oh would that I knew ....will(at my death ) be the call of paradise or the call of fire,!"
Oh would that I knew...
will it be said
( " O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction!
28. "Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him! 89 : 27-28)

or will it be " o You filthy, evil soul , .. come out to the punishment of your Lord and his Angry !"
Oh would that I knew !.....
HOW EXACTLY WILL MY ENDING BE ??

(34-No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things). 34:31 )

oh would that I knew.....
that Time (of death) is one that has:
snatched the sleep of the righteous,So they call out in their night prayers

(9. Is one who is obedient to Allah, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allah's Signs and Verses).9 :39)

So is in one swift moment.....
the soul submits to its creator (returning to him )

then there...
The( righteous ) slave will be experience a strange new place , with amazing wondrous constructions !
In a single moment.....
the slave is taken from a lowly insignificant place to place of everlasting bless !
In a single moment.....
he moves from the narrowness of this world to the vastness of the hereafter!
and in a single moment .....
he goes from place of evil and malice to the place of the presence of the one, the all Dominating (ALLAH)! ''

Al-Barra' Ibn 'Azib said: ''we went with the Prophet, peace be upon him, to a funeral of a man from al-Ansaar (people of Medina), we reached the grave and the man was not buried yet, the Prophet sat and we sat around him, as silent as dead, He had a small stick in his hand scraping the ground with it. He raised his head and said three times: ''ask God refuge from the torment of the grave'',
then he continued: ''when a true believer is about to die, white faced angles, as bright as the sun, descend from heaven for him till they sit where he can see them, they bring along shrouds from paradise, and (hunut) embalmment of paradise, then the Angle of Death comes and sits by his head and say: ''O peaceful soul, come out to the forgiveness and blessings of God'',
it comes out as smoothly as a drop of water flows, the Angle takes the soul and, with a blink of an eye, shrouds and embalms it in the shroud and embalmment of paradise, it comes out bearing the best smell of musk found on earth. The Prophet said: the angles ascend to heaven, whenever they pass by a group of angles they wonder: what is this good spirit?
They answer: he is so and so, calling him with his favorable names, until they reach the first heaven and ask permission to enter. He is granted the permission and is accompanied by heavenly people of each heaven to the following one till he reaches the seventh heaven. God Almighty says: record his book of deeds in 'illiyyun (the highest of the highest), turn him back to earth, I have created them from earth, to earth I return them and from earth I will resurrect them''. The Prophet said: so his soul is returned to his body, two angles come and make him sit down, they ask: ''who is your God?'' he answers: ''my God is Allah''. They ask: ''what is your religion?'' he answers: ''my religion is Islam''. They say: ''who is this man who is sent for you?'', he says: ''he is the Messenger of Allah.'' They ask: ''what is your education?'', he answers: ''I have read the Holy Qur'an, had believed it and believed in it.''. Then a voice from heaven is heard saying: ''my slave has spoken the truth, furnish him with heavenly furniture, dress him in heavenly garments, and open for him a port to paradise''. He feels its smell and goodness, and his grave is widened. A good looking man; well dressed and nice-smelled comes and says: ''bear the good news; this is the day you had been promised before''. The dead man asks the good looking man: ''who are you? Your face is ambassador of goodwill''. He answers: ''I am your good deeds". The man asks God to be immediately resurrected to return to his family and belongings.
''when an unbeliever is about to die, black faced angles descend from heaven for him till they sit where he can see them, they bring along rags, then the Angle of Death comes and sits by his head and say: ''O wicked soul, come out to the wrath and anger of God'', it sinks in his body, the angle of Death brings it out, tearing veins and nerves just like skewers are separated from wet wool, the Angle takes the soul and, with a blink of an eye, puts it in the rags, it comes out bearing the stink of the most rotten corpse found on earth. The angles ascend to heaven, whenever they pass by a group of angles they wonder: what is this stinking soul? They answer: he is so and so, calling him with his worst names, until they reach the first heaven and ask permission to enter. They are denied the permission. Then the Prophet -peace be upon him- recited: "…the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle..." [Al-A'raf 7:40]

{…لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَلَا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّىٰ يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ…}
God Almighty says: record his book of deeds in sijiin (the lowest of the lowest), turn him back to earth, I have created them from earth, to earth I return them and from earth I will resurrect them''. The Prophet said: so his soul is dropped fiercely. He recited: "…And he who associates other deities with Allah - it is as though he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down into a remote place." [Al-Haj 22:31]

{…وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ الطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِي بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي مَكَانٍ سَحِيقٍ}
Then his soul is returned to his body, two angles come and make him sit down, they ask: ''who is your God?'' he answers: ''ah ah I do not know''. They ask: ''what is your religion?'' he answers: ''ah ah I do not know''. Then a voice from heaven is heard saying: furnish him with hell furniture, dress him in hell garments, and open for him a port to hell fire''. He feels its smell and heat, and his grave is narrowed so that his ribs mingle together. An ugly looking man; bad dressed and stinky-smelled comes and says: ''bear the bad news; this is the day you had been promised before''. The dead man asks the bad looking man: ''who are you? Your face is ambassador of evil''. He answers: ''I am your bad deeds". The man asks God that the Day of Judgment would never take place. [Declared Authentic by Al-Albany]

the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, said:

“…when the time of the death of a believer approaches, he receives the good news of God’s pleasure with him and His blessings upon him, and so at that time nothing is dearer to him than what lies ahead of him. He therefore loves meeting God, and God loves meeting him.” [Saheeh Al-Bukhari]
“When the time of the death of a disbeliever approaches, he receives the evil news of God’s torment and His Requital, whereupon nothing is more hateful to him than what is before him.  Therefore, he hates the meeting with God, and God too, hates the meeting with him.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

85. Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire (hell) and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).' quraan, meanin

We are not alone. There is something out there bigger than ourselves. Where will you go after you die? What do you believe and why do you believe it? What is the point of having a mind if you never change it? Here's a surprisingly unsurprising statistic: Everyone dies sooner or later; there is no escaping it and you will be dead for longer than you are alive. This suggests that eternity might be worth more than a passing thought.

Are you ready for the inevitable? There is no need to be fearful of that inevitable moment, so long as you are prepared and as long as you are not taking comfort in something that sounds nice but is really just positive but wishful thinking. Make your life journey count, consider your eternal destination. Just believing in a lie wont make it truth, no matter how much you want it or how appealing that lie is. It is better to know the truth than to live in the delusion of a lie. No one likes being deceived, but in a world of political correctness, acceptance and anything goes, it is easy to side-step the truth of reality. What REALLY is true?

Can we just make up our own truth and say "well that is true for you, but my truth is something else"? Surely we can't all be right, especially when there are so many contradictory beliefs and top world religions out there.
