World Religions - Satanism

What do Satanists believe?

What does Satanism teach?

  • "Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence";
  • "Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!";
  • "Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those  that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual  development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!" (source: taken from The Nine Satanic Statements, from The Satanic Bible, Anton Szandor LaVey, 1969)
  •  “When walking  in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop.  If he does not stop, destroy him.”;
  • “If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.”;
  • “Do not harm little children”; “Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.”;
    (source: taken from The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth, Anton Szandor LaVey, 1969)

The Story of Shawn Patrick Williams

"This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." (From the Bible, John Chapter 3 verse 19-21)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. (John 3:16-18)

Satan is a powerful and primordial archetype of man's psyche.

This archetype is the reflection of how we perceive ourselves in relation to what we call the "others". Satan is the negative definition of what we believe is human. He is a social and cultural phenomenon and as old as humanity itself. There has always and will always, be essentially two worldviews consisting of oppositions and they are "Us & Them".

"A society does not simply discover its others, it fabricates them, by selecting, isolating, and emphasizing as aspect of another people's life, and making it symbolize their difference" - William Scott Green (Professor of the history of religion - ancient Judaism, biblical studies, and the theory of religion).

So, who is this Satan?
He is who you are not!

Satanism is the worship of ones own self as his own god that makes his own choices. Its not what the movies portray. Whether you call yourself a christan, buddist or a number of the other world religions if you put yourself and what you want before what God wants you are part of this religion like it or not.

We are not alone. There is something out there bigger than ourselves. Where will you go after you die? What do you believe and why do you believe it? What is the point of having a mind if you never change it? Here's a surprisingly unsurprising statistic: Everyone dies sooner or later; there is no escaping it and you will be dead for longer than you are alive. This suggests that eternity might be worth more than a passing thought.

Are you ready for the inevitable? There is no need to be fearful of that inevitable moment, so long as you are prepared and as long as you are not taking comfort in something that sounds nice but is really just positive but wishful thinking. Make your life journey count, consider your eternal destination. Just believing in a lie wont make it truth, no matter how much you want it or how appealing that lie is. It is better to know the truth than to live in the delusion of a lie. No one likes being deceived, but in a world of political correctness, acceptance and anything goes, it is easy to side-step the truth of reality. What REALLY is true?

Can we just make up our own truth and say "well that is true for you, but my truth is something else"? Surely we can't all be right, especially when there are so many contradictory beliefs and top world religions out there.
